Workshop content
This first workshop will focus on:
- Theoretical understandings of aromatawai based on Rukuhia Rarangahia
- Theoretical understandings of OTJs and moderation processes
- Explanation of the role of OTJ for meeting class, school and national purposes
- Practical in-school activities to develop moderation processes in one or more areas (i.e pānui, tuhituhi, kōrero, and pāngarau)
- Exercises and approaches to analysing student information from kura data bases and from Te Waharoa Ararau ā-Motu
- Exercises and approaches towards collating student information for reporting from kura data bases and from Te Waharoa Ararau ā-Motu.

Ka tīmata ngā hui whakangungu tuatahi mā ngā kura, Kura Kaupapa, rumaki reo Māori hoki e whakamahi ana i Ngā Whanaketanga Rumaki, ā, ko Kia Ata Mai Educational Trust me te Institute of Professional Learning ka mahi ngātahi ki te tuku i ēnei mai i te marama o Hōngongoi 2014. Ka hāngai katoa ngā hui whakangungu ki te tautoko i ngā kaiako kia pai ai te whakarite whakawātanga whānui a te kaiako (OTJ). Ka haere anō ngā hui tuarua i te Wāhanga 4.
